Sight words are the words children meet so often they should know them on sight, without sounding them out. These sets cover the full Dolch lists by grade and the Fry 1,000 in groups of 100.

How to practice sight words
Start with five to ten cards, not the whole list. Show a card and give a few seconds to read it. Cards read straight away go in a "know it" pile, the rest go back in.
Add new words only once the pile is mostly known. A few minutes a day works better than one long session a week.
Printing the cards
- Open a set and download the PDF.
- Print single-sided. There is nothing on the backs.
- Cut once down the middle, then across the rows.
